Beautiful image of shady plans being opened by daylight! Fascinating poem!

It's how it works. Nicely explained.

Love the first and last line, and that word 'brainwaves'.

Feels as if my brainwaves are random and ebbing while trying to find space

Totally rrelatable to the later middle aged brain

"double down with shady plans" love that and the fractal is gorgeous!

A teacher I know once described his profession as 'shovelling daylight into dark corners'

I like this, it reminded me of the inevitable feeling of losing your dreams in progress when waking up. Not three seconds of consciousness and the random brainwave has ebbed.

That could be my interpretation because I just read this after my dogs woke me up a bit early this morning.

Excellent, one of my favorites I have seen of this style!

love the double-down part. Great stuff.

But I think I want to challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and try some flash fiction. I'd be interested to see what you do with the genre.

It was nicely done...loved reading it

Even though you've used the same words, that middle sentence gives everything new meaning.

Well done!

The form has brought out the mysterious nature of these lines very well.

I like this form; it's a new one I've never seen before. Might be fun to play with.
